Longest Day Golf Challenge

James Latter, Jack Copper and James Pearce from the golf shop will be playing 4 rounds of golf in 1 day on the 22nd June. They will be joined on one of these 4 rounds by special guests Gav Phillips, Steve Mansfield, Stevie Boone and Rebecca Prout. This is in aid of charity and all the proceeds raised will go to the St Barnabas Hospice Trust.
They will be teeing off at 1st light, (about 4.15am) and will hopefully finish on the 18th green at about 19.45.
This is the 2nd year the golf shop has organised this charity day and last year James, Jack, Gav and Dean each walked about 60,000 steps and raised well over £2,000 for Macmillan.
There is a reason that they have changed their charity as James Latter sadly lost his Mum, Rosemary earlier this year. Rosemary had been battling cancer for over 3 years and came along to support everyone at the end of their 4 rounds last year. When she was taken very ill she was looked after by the St Barnabas Home Hospice Team. St Barnabas has looked after many people dear to this golf club and relies heavily upon charity donations.
If you are at the club on the 22nd be sure to look out for them and give them some encouragement or even walk a hole or 2 with them.
Please help them to raise as much as they can by donating to the Go Fund Me website (link below). If you prefer to use cash you are able to donate this to any of the golf shop team in the Pro shop.
Many thanks
James and The Golf Shop Team

Gilbert Print Knock Out

Congratulations to our Gilbert Print team on their victory over Chartham Park yesterday.

A special mention goes to Tim Ingram and Mark Haggart, who delivered an outstanding performance, winning their match 8&7!

This result sees the team progress to the quarter-finals, where they will face Willingdon on 1 July.

Good luck to the team - we're all behind you!
