West Hove was already proud to have Darci Lewis-Bradbury as our Junior Captain, an incredibly talented golfer playing off a 1.3 handicap index at 15 years old. Now Darci has completed an outstanding playing performance at West Sussex GC where the Ladies County Championship were held.
Darci qualified in style as the winner of the Stobart Cup Scratch Trophy with a Gross 141 which meant she took home the two major trophies at the championship.

In the championship match Darci took a lead of 4up at the turn with her opponent pulling it back to 2down before Darci extended her lead, with both her chipping and putting proving difficult to beat. Well played Darci West Hove Golf Club is proud and lucky to have as a member.

Congratulations to member, Dave Bidwell who had a hole in one on our par 3, 13th hole recently.

The club Dave used was a new demo Ping G440 3 hybrid borrowed from the Golf shop and not even available to buy yet!

Guess that club is going on your shopping list Dave!

Congratulations to Mel Humphrey (pictured below), winner of the first Race to Victory OOM and 12 bottles of wine.

Mel recorded 2 wins out of the 6 events and had 35.5 points – a great result, fantastic golfing, Mel.

Second place and 8 bottles of wine go to Chris Beeney with 27.5 points.

Third place and 4 bottles of wine go to Kevin Brown with 27.0 points

We are very pleased to announce that one of our junior members, Daric Lewis-Bradbury is one of 6 Sussex juniors that have been picked for the England Golf South East Region squad for 2024/25.

Congratulations Darci, we know you will do yourself and West Hove proud.
